PRODUCERS

Craig Whitney (Writer/Director) is the writer and director of THE RED NOTE podcast. His short film, THE GARDEN AND THE WILDERNESS, was chosen for the Houston Film Commission’s Texas Filmmakerʼs Showcase as one of the year’s best Texas short films. The film screened at more than a dozen festivals worldwide, garnering numerous awards and nominations. Craig wrote and directed the short film, HARVEST HOME, and has directed and produced numerous plays in Austin, Texas. He currently resides in Mexico City.

Estefania Bonilla Hernandez (Producer) is the producer of THE RED NOTE podcast. Her credits as a producer include numerous short films and commercials, and the upcoming documentary #MICKEY. Her credits as a production coordinator include TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS, and SOUVENIR. Estefania was an executive producer at Phototaxia Pictures. She served as International Sales Coordinator at Itaca Films and as Executive in Charge of Productions at A44 Films.

Will Wallace (Producer) is a producer at Sunflower Films with Terrence Malick and Ed Pressman. His producing credits include the films FLATLAND: THE MOVIE, ROCK SLYDE, and WARNING SHOT. Will also directed/produced TRAFFICKED and directed RED WING. As an actor, Will has worked on over 40 films including THE THIN RED LINE, I AM SAM, and RULES OF ENGAGEMENT.

Karen Criswell (Producer) served for 18 years as Vice President of Operations at Dreamworks, where she supported the Best Picture Oscar-winning teams behind AMERICAN BEAUTY, GLADIATOR, and A BEAUTIFUL MIND. As a producer and consultant for her production company, Koncept Films. Karen has collaborated with Kai Films, BLKBX Creative Group, Gnomon, and Voorhees Films.

Jennifer Jordan Pellerin (Producer) co-founded the production company Film Forward, which champions under-represented voices in film and TV and assists New Mexico productions with logistics. Jennifer wrote and directed the short film THE WALKING SHADOW OF DANNY O'SHEA, and has worked in a variety of other roles, including AD, UPM, script supervisor, and script doctor.

Monica del Carmen (Minerva) was named Best Actress at Mexico's Ariel Awards in 2011 for the film AÑO BISIESTO, Best Supporting Actess in 2020 for ASFIXIA, and Best Actress in 2022 for A COP MOVIE. She starred in Michel Franco's film NEW ORDER, which reached #1 at the Mexican box office in 2020. Monica's films – including BABEL (2007 Oscars Best Picture nominee), AFTER LUCIA (Cannes 2012), and 600 MILES (Berlin 2015) – have grossed a combined $218 million worldwide.

Adrian Ladron (Detective Reyes) was named Best Actor at 2017 Ariel Awards for the film 4th COMPANY. Adrian made his feature film debut in BLACK SHEEP (2009 Guadalajara Film Festival). He also appeared in GUEROS (2014 Berlin Film Festival), the 2018 Televisa-Amazon series DIABLO GUARDIAN, and the Netflix series BANDIDOS.

Carolina Costa (Cinematographer) was named a “Rising Star” of 2018 by American Cinematographer magazine. Her AFI thesis film WAY IN RYE was shortlisted for the 2014 Student Academy Awards. Carolina's credits as director of photography include THE CHOSEN ONES (Cannes Film Festival, 2015), CRYSTAL SWAN (Grand Prix winner, Odessa International Film Festival, 2018), FLOWER, the HBO film ICEBOX, HALA on Apple+, and Nexflix's THE DANCE OF THE 41.

Hanan Townshend (Composer) began his film career as the music supervisor on Terrence Malick's THE TREE OF LIFE. Since then, he has served as the composer on several additional Malick films, including KNIGHT OF CUPS, SONG TO SONG, VOYAGE OF TIME, and TO THE WONDER. His other film composing credits include the SXSW film LOVES HER GUN, THE VESSEL starring Martin Sheen, and the Apple+ documentary FATHOM.

Ivan Wiener (Producer) is the Founder and Executive Director of the Albuquerque Film + Music Experience and owner of Reel Solutions. With 30+ years experience in hospitality and entertainment, he has built relationships with some of the biggest names in film, TV, and music. He has utilized his skills and contacts to produce features, TV shows, docs, shorts, and commercials.

Jorge A. Jiménez (Jaime) has garnered recognition for his compelling performance as Roberto “Poison” Ramos in the high-profile Netflix series NARCOS and NARCOS: MEXICO, as well as his leading roles in PANCHO VILLA: EL CENTAURO DEL NORTE, the Netflix limited series HISTORIA DE UN CRIMEN: COLOSIO, and the Amazon feature film BLACK DEMON. His work in the feature film LA CIVIL earned him a nomination for the Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Kristyan Ferrer has distinguished himself through strong performances in films like Sin Nombre and 600 Millas. He earned an Ariel Award win for Best Supporting Actor in 2022 and received earlier Ariel nominations for Best Actor for Guten Tag, Ramón (2015) and 600 Millas (2016).

Karla Diaz (Editor) is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Her feature film editing credits include ROMA by Alfonso Cuaron and NUESTRO TIEMPO by Carlos Reygadas, both selected for the 2018 Venice Film Festival. Karla's other editing credits include the short film THE RABBIT HUNT (2017 Berlin International Film Festival) and the documentary THE SECRET LIFE OF LANCE LETSCHER (SXSW 2017).

Daniela Schneider (Production Designer / Costume Designer) collaborated with DP Carolina Costa as production designer on THE DANCE OF THE 41 and THE CHOSEN ONES. Her credits as production designer also include director Amat Escalante's films HELI and THE UNTAMED. She served as costume designer on the latter three of these projects, as well as MONOS. As an art director, Daniela's credits include Carlos Reygadas's film BATTLE IN HEAVEN, Escalante's LOS BASTARDOS, and several other titles.

Claire Cornetta served as an impact producer at Participant, where she led campaigns for films such as Dark Waters and The First Wave. As Co-Founder of Carrot Impact, Claire guides strategic vision, campaign design, and media engagement for justice-forward storytelling.

Yahily Rivera (Co-Producer) lives and works in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Yahily studied film at New Mexico State University and has directed or produced several short films, including Ross Marks’ Princess, which premiered in 2015 at the Cleveland International Film Festival.
